Brunswick Grove gig a success

JWTB rocked the Brunswick Grove on Saturday 10/18!! We got the audience going and they joined in with some great participation on a few tunes. Eileen came up and did a bang-up job singing some Janis Joplin with us on her birthday, and her friends were dancin' all night with us. Great crowd, great place. Thanks, Brunswick Grove!!! Future gigs at the Grove to be announced.

Jammin' With The Boys Schedule

Saturday, October 18, The Brunswick Grove, East Brunswick NJ 10pm-1:30am www.brunswickgrove.com/home.htm. No cover.

Mike's lost his head!!!

Well, not HIS head, but his bass. Mike has recently acquired a Hohner B2A, a licensed Steinberger copy, complete with all Steinberger hardware. Basically, it's a neck on a plank, no head. Small, light, portable, great sound. Black, of course. And nobody gets clonked in their head by the bass's head!!

After a setup by our pals at Raritan Bay Guitar Repair it plays great. It's a great compliment to his Gibson Q-80.

Mike's not the only one to add new gear lately, as Rob picked up a sweet green Fender Strat with a rosewood neck. Great classic Strat sound, with a little extra warmth from the rosewood neck. And it has a tasty mint-green pickguard. Looks like it's going to become Rob's standard axe. More details and pics to come, stay tuned!!

JWTB's biggest gig yet!

How the heck did this happen???? JWTB is proud to announce our first "semi-formal" gig at the Crown Plaza in Somerset, for the NJ Association of Women Business owners, on 11/08/08. I hope they like to rock, 'cuz we ain't no wedding band!! This is a formal gig requiring registration and has a $100/per person charge. See link above in the Schedule for more info.

For our regular Jammin' crew, come see us at the Brunswick Grove (http://www.brunswickgrove.com/home.htm) in East Brunswick on 10/18/08 as we tune up for the big show. Nice place, good pub food, 19 beers on tap and attentive bartenders. What else could you want? It's only 1/2 hour from the Middletown area, up Rt. 18, so don't let distance scare you away. Come out to the Grove, join Maureen, Rob, Steve and Mike and help us rock the house!!
